Michael and Jaime were married at the beautiful St. Rosalia's Church in the Oakland area, and their reception was at Futules' Harmar House in Cheswick.
I got to know Jaime and Michael during their Mexican War Streets Engagement Session on a beautiful fall day about a month and a half ago. We were hoping for the same gorgeous weather, but it turned out a little differently. I was so proud of Michael, Jaime, and their entire wedding party though! Outdoor photos were so important to Jaime especially, and they all braved the rain, wind, and cold with no complaints so she could have those photos. Now those are some good friends.
I was so happy to have the privilege of shooting with the lovely (and newly married!) Ivona of Photography by Ivona!
Here's a little look at Michael and Jaime's wedding day:

Jaime and Michael, thank you for allowing Ivona and I to photograph your beautiful wedding! xoxo

The McGinnis Family - Images For A Cure I
A few Sundays ago was the Images For A Cure photo shoot day. Altogether, three generous families participated, which I was thrilled about!
The first shoot was with the McGinnis family. My friend Annette so sweetly passed along the IFAC information to them, and they were more than happy to sign up. We met at a park in Cranberry, and as my family sessions usually go, we just played and had a good time! Their boys are just darling, and they were all so fun to hang out with!
More IFAC sessions to follow!

Thank you so much for being a part of Images For A Cure!

Wes and Jessica - October 10, 2009
On an excruciatingly cold day in January, Wes, Jessica, and I met up in the Strip District to talk about their wedding, and grab as many photos as we could before we froze solid. We lasted about fifteen minutes, but I love how their photos turned out!
Last Saturday was a much nicer day, and they budgeted a generous amount of time for photos, so we definitely made up for their short Engagement Session. They were married at the beautiful Bella Sara in Canonsburg, where their reception was also held. I'd never been to Bella Sara before, and I was so impressed by the facility as well as the staff.
Wes and Jessica are just adorable together! Rima (my lovely second shooter) and I had such a great time with them throughout the day. Their joy and excitement was beautiful to see and an honor to photograph!
Here are a few of the ones we really love:

My absolute favorite -

So sweet!

The beautiful Jessica Hartman!
Love this one -

A classic fall day. Look at those colors!
I love this moment between Jessica and her parents. Her mom came out for the last part of Jessica's dance with her dad.
Wes and Jessica, I hope your honeymoon was fabulous! Congrats and best wishes to you both!
